ACH Processing

Beginning on September 15, 2017,

the Federal Reserve will change the way that that ACH debits are processed.

What is an ACH Debit and what does this mean for you?

In the past, it has taken one or more business days for an ACH  to clear a customer’s account after the debit was initiated Some debits may clear our customers’ accounts on the same day that they are initiated.

• An ACH debit is any electronic payment or withdrawal, automatic draft or paper checks conversion.  

• Never authorize a debit from your account when there are insufficient funds.

• Assume that the debit will be processed the same day that it is authorized.
